Humans
Why are Humans so distructive?
Being a human myself, I have somehow developed a hatred towards how humans are on this planet. I run one of my favourite quotes on my email signatures .. saying "The only thing Earth doesn't need is Humans ..." .. and by saying that i mean the one's who are living on this planet right now .. would surely be including myself too ..
Lemme explain why I think this way .. Earth is the most beautiful planet that we all know of .. and not sure if life exists somewhere else other than our own planet .. though I sure believe that in zillions of stars and gallaxies, its impossible that life doesn't exist in one form or the other .. but the fact that we're not sure yet .. so i'd limit to the sitaution that we have life only on this planet .. and if you've ever gotten a chance to observe the beauty of our planet .. out from the hussle bussle of life and concrete forests that we've built all around for our own use .. at the cost of what .. at the cost of nature which over millions of years .. allowed starting from a small single cell algae to something that lives in water to coming out of water .. reptiles .. then four legged animals and then two legs .. and then finally humans .. and whats more .. humans being the only species as of now .. who is dominating earth .. not just cause of sheer population of us .. but cause of the fact that we have developed an ability to understand, and think .. and use our brains ..
Well we're using our brains alright .. but for what .. cutting forest and getting rid of natural reserves .. and creating hole in the ozone layer .. which is slow but sure shot method of eliminating life from our planet .. Why ? Why can't we live with the rest of the species on this planet, with them, rather than trying to control everything on this planet? We don't control nothing, and humans are just an insignificant species in this whole universe. But at the same time, if we live with the nature, we sure can live longer than we're going to now, we sure have chances to go further down from our own planet and see beyond, but definitely this would never happen if we go against nature.
Yes Dinasours ruled this planet once, and its been 2 billion years (approx or mayb more / less) that they're extinct .. ever since .. no one rememebred .. no one heard bout them .. and they're just not there .. mother nature is the biggest forces and we're reminded about it time and time again .. with the volcanos', earthquakes, tsunamis' and all the other happenings .. but somehow we're not listening .. seems we just don't care ..
And i'm not saying that none of us really care .. well lots of us do, but somehow that effort which comes from all of us together is not there .. but at the same time i guess that's life .. its a combination of both .. but we must understand .. that the only way to survive .. is to live with Nature and not against it ..

Kids' Learnings
Its important what a kid sees and learns, while being a kid.
Having said the above, one might argue that everyone knows this, so what's new. Well, here's one reason I found out why its so important.
When we're grown up's, we can classify on the thoughts which should be kept private and the thoughts which should be put public. The control over things, which when done are right, and the things which might be perceived as wrong. The above classification comes to us, by our knowledge and understanding, but at the same time, the majority of it is based on the learnings that we had during our childhood. If at that time, we were told, not to pluck the flowers, as they're a living being themselves, and we have no right to kill something/ something we can't bring to life. Thus, as we grow up, this thought grows on stronger, and we do analyse it and understand it as we grow.
The thoughts which are given to us, while we're growing, stay with us, more than anything, and shape us to what we would become, tomorrow.
But, when we're kids, we do not really saggregate on what's to be kept only to us, and what others should hear. Kids are pure souls, and are unaware of the material world outside, and its hardships / shall I say, unexplained behavior, most of the times. So kids express themselves, without racism, hatred or any other -ve / outward +ve feeling towards the others. They treat everyone as same. And I believe, when we're grown, and we don't have our guards on, we behave exactly how we were, when we were kids. And that's where the importance of our learnings when we were unaware of difference between the right and the wrong, comes into picture.
Just a thought.
